Rates & Insurance

We are a fee-for-service practice that is not in-network with any commercial insurances. However, we will gladly work with most insurance plans on an out of network basis. As a courtesy to our patients, we will verify your health benefits prior to your first visit to determine your cost of care for therapy services. For those patients who do not have health insurance or those who have maxed out their benefits, we offer private pay plans as well as select treatment packages. Please contact us today at (972) 910-2326 for more information on our fees for service and payment details. Upon request, receipts can be provided that include the necessary codes to send self-claims to your insurance company.

Why is insurance not billed at Body By Briggs?

We are an out-of-network practice because the business model necessary for an in-network practice to survive rarely ever allows for the high level of care we insist on giving our patients.
Due to progressively worsening reimbursement rates and pressure from insurance companies, the physical therapists at in-network clinics have to see at least 2 patients per hour (usually many more) and they often use technicians and assistants to provide much of the actual patient care. The care often includes modalities like heat packs and ultrasound, and the majority of a patient’s time at the clinic is spent doing exercises they could do on their own time. Furthermore, these types of clinics tend to require patients to attend 2-3 appointments per week.

We believe that our hands-on treatment and strategic use of corrective exercise make for more efficient use of our patients’ valuable time. The extra attention paid to details such as quality soft tissue and joint mobility as well using as the most effective exercises for resetting and reloading muscles and joints lead to many patients only requiring one or two visits per week during their plan of care. As a result, while deductibles and physical therapy copays have skyrocketed in recent years, many of our patients who have high copays or have not met their deductible likely pay less out of pocket for our treatments than they would if they went to a clinic that “takes their insurance.” For more information, Contact Us at Irving, Euless & Grapevine, TX Centers.
